US Imperialism and the Global War Regime

内容提要
自特朗普第二任期以来，美国的国际行动日益呈现出帝国主义形态，并造成惊人的破坏。但几乎与此同时，这些行动也被揭示为一种失败的帝国主义。本文将探讨当前美国行动与二十世纪美国帝国主义之间的一些差异。最后，我将思考在当前全球危机下，国际主义可能采取何种回应。
Since the beginning of Trump’s 2nd Presidency, the US international actions have taken increasingly imperialist forms and created extraordinary destruction, but almost immediately these operations have been revealed as a failed imperialism. I propose to investigate some of the differences between the current US actions and the US imperialism of the 20th century. I will end by considering what forms could take an internationalist response to the current global crisis.

迈克尔·哈特 Michael Hardt
在杜克大学文学院系教授政治理论，与安东尼奥·奈格里合著多部作品，包括《帝国》。他的最新作品是《颠覆的七十年代》，目前担任《南大西洋季刊》的编辑，并与桑德罗·梅扎德拉共同担任Portolan编辑。
Michael Hardt teaches political theory in the Literature Program at Duke University. With Antonio Negri, he co-authored several books, includingEmpire. His latest book isThe Subversive Seventies. He currently serves as editor of theSouth Atlantic Quarterlyand co-editor with Sandro Mezzadra, ofPortolan.
